Operacional Management Forums of Wind and Solar Parks 2019 – Acknowledgements and Highlights

Two major events in renewable energies were held in São Paulo in the same week: From October 22nd to 23th the O&M forum for Wind Farms in its 7th edition and on 24th of October the first edition for O&M in Solar Parks. As major sponsor of the event, WINDWERK thanks customers, partners and suppliers, as well as all participants.

Leading specialists in Maintenance, manufacturers of wind turbines, investors and operators met to discuss technologies, challenges and opportunities for Wind and Solar Farms. WINDWERK presented together with customers success stories in the optimization of O&M.

For instance, permanent monitoring in a wind complex helped to reduce 40% downtime during periods of high winds. WINDWERK´s Managing Director, Thomas Kunzmann, presented different and innovative O&M models, which could boost performance and reduce costs. In addition, DGE, WINDWERK´s German partner company, showed international cases in wind as well as in solar power, with experiencies and lessons leaned during operation time of more the 15 years.
